Centro del Materasso

In 2019, I worked on behalf of my communications agency to develop the website for a company specializing in the sale of custom-made mattresses based in Venice.

Site goal: to attract customers to the physical store

The customer was not interested in online sales through e-commerce. Its sales method was based on personalized analysis of the customer’s needs in order to recommend the most suitable mattress. Thus, the goal of the site was to bring new visitors to the mattress store in Venice.

Strategy: customized test and informative blog

We created a site that would highlight all the tailored aspects of the service offered. At the heart of the project was the development of a test to help customers figure out which mattress is right for them. At the end of the test, the user could leave his or her information to be contacted and schedule an in-store appointment.

The site also includes a blog full of articles related to the world of sleep, mattresses, wellness and posture. This has enabled the client to position itself as an expert in the sleep industry and improve organic traffic through optimized content.

The test: a guide to choosing the ideal mattress

The guided test consists of a few simple questions designed to understand the customer’s needs, such as why they want to change mattresses, any physical pains, sleeping habits, etc.

At the end of the test, the user leaves his or her contact information to receive the results and is then contacted again for an in-store cognitive appointment, with the opportunity to try the recommended models directly.

Based on the responses, the system suggests the most suitable type of mattress from those available, each presented on a dedicated page with specific advantages, materials and benefits.

Rebranding project: restyling the Mariposa logo

During the development of the site, we were also given the task of updating the company logo. The original logo depicted a stylized butterfly, in keeping with the company name: Mariposa.

We chose to keep the original visual identity, enriching it with the outline of a face that seems to sink into a pillow, drawn in a way that recalls the shape of a stylized butterfly.

The client greatly appreciated the result. However, due to budget problems related to reprinting the company’s printed materials, the new logo was not officially implemented.
