In 2019, I collaborated on behalf of my communications agency to create the official website of Porta Leone, an artisanal Italian winery specializing in DOC and IGP wines. The website was designed as a comprehensive digital catalog accessible in four different languages (Italian, English, French and German), to facilitate internationalization and B2B contacts.

The project required an in-depth study of the corporate identity in order to develop a design consistent with existing communication. I oversaw the graphic design and development of the site in WordPress, also taking care of the inclusion of the entire wine catalog.

The site introduces the company, the founding family and delves into the innovative method of wine and sparkling wine production, with the aim of enhancing product quality and informing potential buyers.

Given the breadth of the catalog, it was necessary to devise an effective UI system to facilitate navigation and exploration of the different products. An interactive layout was implemented on the homepage, while for each individual wine a detailed card was designed with information on food pairings and sensory analysis.

The project was partially funded by the European Union, as part of its initiatives for the digitization of European craft enterprises, and was approved from the design phase to full implementation.
