Una Buona Azione

From Workshop to Big Screen: The Journey of Short Film Una Buona Azione

Sometimes stories are born in the most unexpected places. Mine was born in Padua, during a screenwriting workshop. Between exercises, discussions, and shared ideas, the story of Martin took shape: a man who, after committing his first murder, finds himself forced to accept a ride from a stranger with an unexpected good deed in mind.

What began as a simple creative exercise soon made its way to the camera thanks to the help of Salvatore Frisina, known as Toti, who has been energizing the Padua area for years with film-making workshops and projects. Together, we transformed the script into images, bringing to life a tense and gripping short film.

The journey came full circle — or perhaps it has only just begun — with the screening of the film during a special evening at Nadir in Padua. A moment of sharing that brought the story back to where it all started: among people, ready to spark emotions and questions.
