In May 2022, as a professional photographer and videomaker, I worked with a Padua-based online sales and promotion company to create eye-catching visual content for their e-commerce site, which features Murano glassware made in Venice. My role was to produce high quality product photos and a promotional video to enhance the online presence and sales of these elegant glassware items.
As an advertising and product photographer, I meticulously captured images of 24 Murano glasses, organised into 4 distinct styles, 4 unique carafes and 4 elegant stemware sets. My goal was to highlight the intricate craftsmanship and aesthetic appeal of each piece, making them irresistible to potential buyers.
To achieve this, I set up and photographed the products in various domestic settings, mainly targeting private individuals as the target audience. In addition, I documented the glassblowing process, capturing the artisans as they created these beautiful glasses, adding a touch of authenticity and narrative to the visual content. This approach made still life and product photos particularly effective for ecommerce photography.
In my role as videomaker, I also edited a limited-budget emotional video for use on Amazon. This corporate video showed the entire range of Murano glasses, each presented on a beautifully set table, and included behind-the-scenes footage of the artisans at work in Murano, Venice. The video was accompanied by a custom soundtrack created in collaboration with talented artist Alberto Franzin, aka MrFranza, adding an emotional and engaging layer to the promotion.
Combining my experience in corporate video production and product photography, I successfully delivered a complete visual marketing package that significantly increased product appeal and online visibility.
