Centro del Materasso

In 2019, I worked on behalf of my communications company on a website for a mattress sales company located in Venice. The purpose of the site was to attract potential buyers to the physical shop as the client did not want to set up an e-commerce site at all. Their sales method involved studying the customer for the section of a mattress customised to his specific needs.

We therefore created a site that highlighted all these tailor-made aspects of the company and created a test where potential customers could discover their needs and make an appointment with the company for a meeting. The site also contains a well-stocked blog where the company demonstrates its expertise in its field.

Role

  • Web Development
  • Website Design
  • UI & UX
  • Branding

the homepage presents all the advantages of choosing this company for the purchase of a customised mattress and invites the potential buyer to take part in a test.

The test asks a few simple questions to understand the potential buyer’s reasons for wanting to change mattresses. At the end of the test, it is necessary to leave your contact details to find out the result.

The company will then contact the potential buyer and ask if he or she would like to proceed with an acquaintance meeting and a trial of the mattresses.

The test then redirects the potential purchaser towards the most suitable type of mattress to meet his or her needs and solve the problems encountered with the previously used mattress. Each type of mattress has its own page with information on its advantages.

Branding project

During the development of the website we were also commissioned to update the company logo. The original logo was a stylised butterfly, as the company advertised itself as Mariposa.

We decided not to distort the nature of the original version too much, adding the outline of a face that seems to be sinking into a pillow. The pillow is designed to look like a stylised butterfly.

They liked the result of this work very much, but due to a budget problem related to the reprinting of all the company’s printed material, the logo was ultimately not applied to the company’s communication.
